Why spending real money on Diablo IV might break your heart?

1 years ago By AI Smith

Diablo IV has many secrets, but also some other problems to solve. One of them has left us a crazy story and it has to do with a bell. Nothing of a map item, actually, but Blizzard’s game includes a real-money bell emote that has shut down a single-player match.

We don’t know if it was a bug, or to what extent it can be solved within the game, but the user Rob262 well-known around these parts was in a Level 4 world and wanted to use said emote to have a good time with an e.y. The bell appears physically in the game, and with each hit of the enemy, it rings loudly.

So far, all is normal in Diablo 4 since its release. Perhaps the fact that there is a bell that costs real money and that its only purpose is this would be up for debate. However, among all the laughter, the player seems to have gotten stuck in the bell to the point that the game became unresponsive and crashed completely.

As we have said, we don’t know what could have caused this, but a bell closing the game in a World Level 4, although there will be another level more beast in the future, is enough to piss you off. Of course, perhaps it was the hours of play or the exhaustion of the stream, but the player has only continued laughing at the absurd situation.

As reported by Blizzard in a press release last week, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV has surpassed the barrier of $666 million in the five days of launch. These incomes have also been thanks to microtransactions, which have been the subject of controversy  since some cosmetics cost up to 25 euros in Diablo 4.

The company has also shared other statistics that show the great reception of the game. In this way, 276 million hours have been exceeded and players have killed 276,000 million demons. However, users have also died 316 million times. The true heroes of the community have been the 163 people who have reached the maximum level in Hardcore Mode, that is, permanent death where you lose all your character, time and objects.
