This is the scorching season, which kicked off as early as June 1, 2023. However, after the release of version 4.0.0 this season some bugs were found to be fixed with a new patch, and now it seems another one is on the way. All of these Twitch related to the games are set to launch on 14th June at 2am BST / 3am CEST — equating to 13th June at 9pm EDT.

This is  version 4.0.2, which includes these fixes to player controls:

Multiplayer Bug Fixers:

Detected an issue where the game ran slower than expected during battles compared to Ver. 3.1.1 or earlier.

Taken action to set an issue in Clam Blitz mode where if a player passed a clam or power clam to an ally who was standing in front of the goal, that clam or power clam would remain in the ally’s possession even if it was counted like a goal.

Disclosed an issue in Clam Raid mode that would sometimes cause a clam to not travel according to the predicted trajectory line displayed when pressing the launch button.

Fixed an issue in Chaotic Combat (Casual) that would always cause a communication error when joining a party with friends, based on the status of party members in Splatoon 3.
