Olympics Esports Week 2023: Games to expect, date, time, location, Live Streaming & more

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) last year announced that it will be hosting a first of its kind Olympic Esports Week. The IOC has been continually trying to bring esports and other virtual sports to the center stage. In 2020, the IOC organized an Olympic Virtual Series. It was a pre-game event that led to the commencement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. By announcing The Esports Week, the IOC has made sure to put 100% efforts into its commitment towards the esports sector. 

A press release shared by them last year mentioned that the Olympic Esports Week marks “the next major step in supporting the development of virtual sports within the Olympic Movement”. Here’s all you need to know about the event. 

Olympics Esports Week 2023 Dates and Location

The Olympics Esports Week by IOC, will be hosted from 22nd June till 25th June 2023. It will be a 4-day long affair where all the esports fanatics from across the world will be present. Singapore is confirmed as the host of the inaugural season of The Esports Week. It will be held at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore.

The Singapore National Olympic Committee (SNOC), along with the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, Sport Singapore will be responsible for organizing the event.
