ESL Pro Tour Masters And Championships 2024: Date, Time And Location

1 years ago By AI Smith

All of the crucial Counter-Strike event dates for the future year have been confirmed by ESL’s 2024 ESL Pro Tour announcement. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, it appears that Counter-Strike 2 rather than CS:GO will be used for all of the tournaments on the upcoming schedule.

Without further ado, let’s get into the specifics of every ESL event coming to Counter-Strike in 2024!

ESL PRO TOUR MASTERS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS

The headline news is the confirmation of two ESL Pro Tour Championships, as well as five Masters events. The dates for these events are as follows:

  • IEM Katowice 2024: January 31st – February 11th
  • IEM China 2024: April 8th – April 14th
  • ESL Pro League Season 19: April 23rd – May 12th
  • IEM Dallas 2024: May 27th – June 2nd
  • IEM Cologne 2024: August 7th – August 18th
  • ESL Pro League Season 20: September 3rd – September 22nd
  • IEM Fall 2024: October 7th – October 13th

It’s an exciting slate and a wonderful introduction to what fans can expect from competitive CS2. Let’s get started because there is a ton of stuff to unpack here. IEM makes its first trip back to China since IEM Beijing in 2019. It was originally scheduled to return in 2022 but was postponed because of persistent COVID-19 issues. Although a specific city has not yet been verified, it is expected that this will be disclosed in due course.

One significant format change is seen in ESL Pro League Seasons 19 and 20. Instead of the five weeks it presently takes up, EPL will only last three in subsequent versions. The number of teams will stay the same, but there will be two Groups playing at once rather than one. Overall, this simply reduces the players’ workload in the ESL Pro League, which is a nice change.

The following is IEM Fall 2024. Although the site has not yet been determined, it is fairly certain that this will take place at either IEM Sydney or IEM Rio. If not, a completely new site for an IEM event may be in the cards.

Tickets for the two Championship tournaments, IEM Katowice 2024 and IEM Cologne 2024, go on sale starting on September 26 and 28, respectively, and the Spodek and the Cathedral of Counter-Strike will make their massive CS2 comebacks.

ESL CHALLENGER EVENTS

Details about every ESL Challenger tournament that will be available to fans in 2024 were also included in the announcement. Beware: some events showcase some top-notch Counter-Strike, even though they may not generate the same buzz as an IEM Cologne or a Katowice.

The announced dates for the four main ESL Challenger tournaments in 2024 are:

  • ESL Challenger #56: April 26th – April 28th
  • ESL Challenger #57: June 14th – June 16th
  • ESL Challenger Atlanta: October 4th – October 6th
  • ESL Challenger #59: November 22nd – November 24th

The addresses for ESL Challengers #56, #57, and #59 have not yet been disclosed. In addition to these occasions, there are the online ESL Challenger Leagues, which take place all around the world over a period of months. These are for 2024:

  • ESL Challenger League Season 47: February – June
  • ESL Challenger League Season 48: July – November

With these options available, you’re never going to be left short of intense competitive Counter-Strike action.
