Diablo 4 In Season 6 Of Warzone 2 And MW2: All Info

1 years ago By AI Smith

Get ready to face the terrors of hell as Call of Duty’s Season 6 welcomes the malevolent forces of Diablo 4. In a spine-chilling Halloween event known as “The Haunting,” Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 players will experience a fusion of two iconic gaming worlds like never before.

This eerie crossover event introduces bundles inspired by the dark and twisted universe of Diablo 4, featuring two brand-new Operators: the Queen of the Succubi, Lilith, and the fallen archangel, Inarius.

Lilith and Inarius:

Lilith, a character infamous as the main antagonist in the recently launched Diablo 4, takes center stage in this haunting crossover. In a surprising twist, Inarius, a pivotal figure in the Diablo 4 narrative, also joins the fray. Given that both Call of Duty and Diablo are part of the Activision Blizzard family, this crossover has been long-awaited. With Call of Duty’s shift towards thrilling licensed crossovers and the departure from military realism in favor of the adrenaline-pumping Warzone experience, it was only a matter of time before these two colossal franchises converged.

Additional Horror Icons:

But the spine-tingling surprises don’t stop with Diablo. “The Haunting” event also invites other iconic horror characters to join as Operators. These include Skeletor from Masters of the Universe, the infamous Ash Williams from The Evil Dead, and Alucard from Hellsing. To up the ante, a Doom tracer weapon bundle is also in store, featuring Doomguy’s iconic chainsaw and a long-range shotgun.

Season 6 Launch Date:

The highly anticipated Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 is set to kick off at 9 AM PT on September 27, ushering in the Halloween season with spine-chilling excitement. The Haunting event itself is scheduled to arrive shortly before mid-season, making its debut on October 17.

Season 6 and Beyond:

The Haunting event serves as the climactic conclusion to Modern Warfare 2’s final season, introducing an increased Prestige Rank cap, elevating it from 21 to 25, and introducing a new maximum level of 1,250. Fans can also anticipate the Modern Warfare 3 beta, commencing on October 6 on PlayStation consoles and offering crossplay across all platforms starting from October 12.

Early access to the Modern Warfare 3 campaign is set to begin on November 2, with the full game launch slated for November 10. Importantly, any content earned in Modern Warfare 2 will carry forward seamlessly to Modern Warfare 3, ensuring players can continue their adventures with their cherished weapons and Operators.

Prepare for a Halloween season like no other as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 intertwine with the sinister world of Diablo 4. The Haunting event promises a bone-chilling experience filled with iconic characters, spooky bundles, and thrilling gameplay, all while marking a memorable conclusion to Season 6 and setting the stage for a thrilling future in the Call of Duty universe.
