GTA is one of the most popular game titles which has a very active fan base. One such fan on Reddit, went a step ahead by creating realistic-looking photos of some of GTA San Andreas’ iconic characters using AI. ,

The recent versions of the game are undoubtedly soaring in popularity and rightly so since they have much better graphics and gameplay. However, people keep going back to take up the role of Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson in GTA San Andreas. The characters of GTA San Andreas are close to several hearts.

One such fan, a Redditor and artist who goes by the name AaronGNP made use of an AI generator to bring the iconic GTA San Andreas characters to life. Generated using AI, these images are finest, and most realistic-looking digital portraits. They almost look like the characters were real-life humans. 

In a post on the r/StableDiffusion subreddit, AaronGNP, revealed the images saying they were recreated using ControlNet, Img2Img, and RealisticVision AI.

Carl “CJ” Johnson

This realistic portrait of protagonist CJ is something we cannot get over. After the hours that we have spent in GTA San Andreas trying to get CJ do all sorts of things, looking at his real looking image makes us nostalgic and happy.

Big Smoke

Big Smoke, is another fan-favorite iconic character, who is loved despite the backstabbing he does in the game. His real-looking image looks just as he does in the game.  

Frank Tenpenny

Frank Tenpenny, the policeman, is probably the most corrupt character in GTA San Andreas. If you look at his AI image, it makes him look significantly aged up. Nevertheless it looks just as nasty and menacing as he is shown in the game.

Sean “Sweet” Johnson

While Tenpenny has been aged by AI images, Sean “Sweet” Johnson appears to be de-aged heavily in the AI images as compared to the game. Additionally, he looks much tougher, thinner, apart from looking a lot mellower against his buffed-up counterpart in the game.

Catalina

The AI image of Catalina is extremely beautiful. In fact the video-game version of Catalina looks nothing like the AI-generated Catalina. The AI image has made Catalina a lot younger than what she is shown in the game.
