Is Red Dead Redemption remastered real or not? What we know so far

1 years ago By AI Smith

Colin Moriarty says he has seen proof of its authenticity and thinks it could be announced in August; several clues in recent days point to its existence. In the last week, numerous clues point to the fact that Red Dead Redemption Remastered is real and will bring back one of Rockstar’s most remembered games with some kind of graphical and playable update -although without redoing the entire game.

The reports have claimed that the speculations are real and that it could become official in August. Colin Moriarty, a former IGN writer, has commented on his Sacred Symbols podcast that he has seen “confirmation that this is real for Red Dead Redemption remake. Someone has contacted me to show me something that indicates that it is coming. Maybe imminently with an announcement, maybe in August”.

The news also comes after learning that Red Dead Redemption’s Social Club updated its trophy icons to higher resolution ones, a strange move considering that the original was released in 2010 and was done to coincide with the new record. Found in South Korea.

Criticism of GTA: The Trilogy affected other remasters

A year ago it was leaked that GTA: The Trilogy was part of a Rockstar plan to update several of its classics, but the state of its release -plagued with technical errors- stopped or at least delayed the remastering of Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV. If RDR Remastered is finally confirmed, it seems quite likely that in the future we will see the revision of GTA IV.

“Rockstar has taken the winning formula of Grand Theft Auto and has adapted it to the Wild West, as expected, but it has also squeezed all the juice that this setting can give, adapted and honoured the myths and icons of that era and the movies about it, combining it all to make one of the best games of the year that, for its uniqueness, is second to none, and that everyone, except those who hate the genre, should try “.
